Mail Forwarding Plan Features

Emcon offers mail forwarding services for both business and personal use. All plans provide a physical, legal mailing address for you to use. We receive mail on your behalf and then notify you of each delivery. After logging in to your account and viewing your notifications, you then choose what to do with each piece of mail.

Our staff will also open the package upon request by the customer and view and photograph the contents for your inspection. All information is kept strictly confidential and customer privacy is maintained at all times.

Instead of specifying instructions for each piece of mail separately, you can choose to have it automatically forwarded on a monthly or weekly basis. You can set the forwarding address is your preferences and change it any time.

In your preferences, you can also select your preferred shipper and shipping method so you do not have to select it each time. Again, this can be changed at any time by you.

We offer a wide range of options regarding carriers and shipping methods so you may select the most cost-efficient method for your needs. To further save you money, our staff will consolidate packages when possible to reduce costs.


Everything is handled through your online account. Communications with customer service, notifications of deliveries and photographs of contents can be accessed via your login.

All correspondence and communications are protected by the most advanced software and privacy protocols available.


When scanning of items is required, we minimize exposure to staff and use advanced high-resolutions scanners for contents and outer packaging images. Items are converted to PDFs for best results and are sent attached to your account notifications. The images are only accessible via your account and cannot be viewed without providing your login information.

When you request content scanning, items are removed from the storage area and brought to the scanning area. Only authorized personnel have access to this area and it is not accessible to the public. The items are removed from the packaging only long enough to be scanned and then they are returned to the original package and placed back in secure storage to await further instructions from you.

Our facilities currently recycle approximately 80% of our waste. We participate in every recycling program at our disposal.

The recycling has a twofold benefit. The first is obvious. It allows us to decrease our contribution to landfills and reduces our carbon footprint. The second benefit is that it allows us to minimize risks to our customers’ privacy.

By shredding and recycling items, identity thieves have one less way to glean personal information from our clients. Dumpster diving may seem primitive and simplistic, but it is one of the easiest ways to get personal information on individuals. Our methods ensure that there is nothing for them to find.
