Your company’s inventory is its lifeline. Having adequate stock on hand for customer orders is crucial. By partnering with Emcon, you are assured that your product is stored properly and is subject to routing quality inspections.

From the moment your delivery arrives at our facilities, our staff implements the strictest quality controls and storage protocols. Each delivery is inspected immediately for issues like breakage or spoilage concerns. If any problems are noted, we notify you immediately.

Inventory is promptly scanned into our system and stored appropriately according to protocols set in place by your company or manufacturers’ instructions.

You have 24hr access to your inventory through your online account.

RECEIVING

Our receiving clerks are the best in the industry. They are trained in quality control protocols and inspect each delivery and also conduct routine inspections on existing deliveries. When any issues are identified, we notify the customer immediately so the proper steps can be taken to address the problem.

Customers specify how each particular product is to be stored and our receivers follow those instructions to the letter.

TRACKING

By employing RF scanners, we can accurately track inventory levels and quickly identify potential low stock issues before they become a problem.We assign custom bar codes to each pallet upon delivery. The bar code is affixed to each pallet via a label and that label contains all the information about that particular item. Once the code is scanned into the system it becomes instantly available for the purposes of tracking storage locations and stock levels.

NOTIFICATIONS

Our preference is to make our customers aware of issues as quickly as possible so we can work fast to solve the problem. The best way for us to communicate with our customers is through our EDI interface.

We strongly suggest all customers use the EDI system. You can access real-time data on your deliveries and check your inventory numbers quickly and easily.

The system also permits you to make changes to shipments and is the easy way to communicate with our facilities staff.

AUTOMATED STORAGE SELECTION

Our system allows for us to identify the optimum storage conditions for all products received in our facilities. We evaluate the following criteria to ascertain the perfect storage parameters: current inventory levels, environmental factors and temperature controls.

The system is monitored on an ongoing basis and immediately notifies us of any changes to the storage conditions in particular areas. This permits us to make quick modifications to minimize spoilage and prevent losses.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

We use preset KPI to monitor and evaluate our performance. If your business requires additional indicators to be tracked, we can easily do that for you. Just let us know what type of data you need and we can modify our data gathering to incorporate those items.

Emcon allows for you to have easy access to those KPI for your own reporting purposes.
